Where you use such social sharing buttons you do so at your own discretion. You should note that the social media platform may track and save your request to share a web page respectively through your social media platform account. 6. HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We carefully consider the personal data that we store, and we will not keep your information in a form that identifies you for longer than is necessary for the purposes set out in this notice or as required by applicable law. In some instances, we are required to hold data for minimum periods: for example, UK tax law currently specifies a six-year period for retention of some of your personal data.

If you are successful in respect of a job vacancy, the information you provide during the application process will be retained by us as part of your employee file for the duration of your employment with us (plus 6 years following the end of your employment). This includes your criminal records declaration, fitness to work, records of any security checks and references.

If you unsuccessful at any stage of the process, the information you have provided until that point will be retained for up to twelve months from the closure of the recruitment campaign.

Information generated throughout the assessment process, for example, interview notes, is retained by us for up to twelve months following the closure of the campaign whether you are successful or not.

7. MARKETING

We may store your contact details, and carry out marketing profiling activities, for direct marketing purposes. If you have given your consent, or if we are otherwise permitted to do so, we may contact you about our services that may be of interest to you. You will be given the opportunity to opt out each time you are contacted. Additionally, you may opt out at any time by contacting us using the details in section 14 below.

8. DO WE TRANSFER PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EEA?

If you live in the EU, the personal data relating to you that we collect may be transferred to, and stored at, locations outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our service providers.

    • processing of personal data concerning you for direct marketing
